The guinea pig, also called the cavy, is a species of rodent belonging to the family Caviidae and the genus Cavia. Despite their common name, these animals are not in the pig family, nor are they from Guinea. We offer many different colours and off most coat types of Guinea Pigs. They need to be kept in a large hutch, cage or run with straw as their bedding. They are best kept in pairs or small groups.
Lifespan: 4 – 8 years.
